This camp is designed for dedicated female players (born 2007-2010) looking for a positive and rewarding development opportunity.

(open to age appropriate players from all clubs)

Coaches Bio
Steve Simonson – a Central Saanich resident who is the current head coach of the University of Northern BC Men’s team. He has extensive experience coaching at various levels including the Victoria Highlanders of League 1 BC and the USL PDL, as well as the Assistant Coach of the Vancouver Whitecaps Women’s team from 2001-2002 and 2005-2007 where he also served as head of the girls prospects program for the Whitecaps. Steve has coached various high performance youth programs in Victoria and the lower mainland including Lower Island Selects, VI Wave, and BC Teams programs.

Katie Kraeutner – started her youth soccer career at peninsula soccer association before going on to reaching high levels of soccer playing NCAA D1 at the University of Nebraska, the U20 Canadian Women’s National Team, and 3 years of professional soccer in Europe. Katie is a highly respected youth coach specializing in individual and small group settings.

Camp Features:
Morning and Afternoon Sessions.
Pre-Session presentations overviewing training topics. Individual Technique Development.
On field sessions with progressive approach focussing on small group concepts, and tactical references to assist with in-game decision making.
Classroom seminars focussed on building self-efficacy and growth mindset.
