⚽ Adult Drop-In Soccer – FAQ
🟡 Why is there a new $50 charge?
The $50 seasonal fee helps cover:
- Field and lighting costs
- New reversible pinnies for quick team setup
- Basic equipment and ongoing maintenance
We’ve kept this cost as low as possible to continue offering a fun, well-run programme for everyone.
Winter season fees only cover costs for those programs, which include, Field, Referees, LISA, BC Soccer & Canada Soccer fees.
🔵 Who pays this fee?
- Anyone participating in spring/summer drop-in (March–August)
- It’s a one-time seasonal fee, not a weekly charge
🟢 Can I come try it first?
Yes! Your first session is free — come give it a go and see if it’s a good fit before registering.
🔵 How long does it cover?
The fee includes roughly 20 nights of soccer from spring through summer — no extra weekly payments.
🟣 Are you adding other game options?
We’re exploring a women’s-only session, based on interest. Let us know if you’d like to join — the more interest we get, the sooner we can launch it!
👟 I’ve Never Played Before — Can I Join?
Absolutely! Our drop-in games are open to all skill levels, including total beginners. Whether you’re returning to the game after years or lacing up for the first time — you’re welcome. Games are casual, free-flowing, with no positional structure or referees.
What do I need to bring?
- Running shoes or soccer cleats (cleats are recommended but not required)
- Shin guards are recommended but not required
- Comfortable clothes for sport
- Water bottle
- That’s it! We’ll provide pinnies for teams and game balls.
🤝 How Competitive Is It?
Our sessions are friendly and casual. The goal is to stay active, meet new people, and enjoy the game — no scoreboards.
- Mix of skill levels
- No refs, no pressure
- Great for fitness, fun, and making friends
It’s a relaxed atmosphere — if you’re looking for community more than competition, you’re in the right place.
