Little Kickers

Description

ENCOURAGED FOR ATHLETES U10 AND BELOW OR NEW TO THE SPORT OF SOCCER.
This program will help begin the journey of many of our young athletes at Peninsula Soccer Association. The program will help create the foundation/platform for a well balanced “ATHLETE”. Topics will include physical literacy (running, jumping skipping, etc.), as well as basic soccer technical skills including: ball mastery, passing with different parts of the foot at different ranges, shooting, and the basics of goalkeeping.

Benefits

Individuals at this stage of their learning are just starting to understand what their body is capable of doing. This is why its extremely important that we as an organization help nurture your children in becoming a fine-tuned athlete capable of performance basic movement patterns correctly to help them become better athletes now, and maintain fitness and health later on in their lives. The program will also introduce them to the basics of soccer, and encourage them to try new skills and test their abilities through trail and error while helping them to understand that setbacks and failures at practices are learning and growing opportunities.
