Peninsula FC Bottle drive was a huge success. Through the hard work of all the collecting volunteers who drove around a large area of the Saanich Peninsula, and the sorting volunteers who were also working tirelessly, we managed to collect $7602 worth of recycling.
Special thanks to Sheila Holm for coordinating all of the volunteers at the sorting station. Another great effort by everyone!
Peninsula FC would like to extend a special thanks to Don Mann Excavating for clearing out the blackberry bushes at Blue Heron. Thanks for removing this thorn in our sides!
Peninsula FC supports Long Term Player Development, a CSA soccer-specific adaptation of the Long Term Player Development model which recognizes the different growth and learning stages of both girls and boys, and focuses on appropriate training for appropriate levels of development!

Congratulations to the U18 Boys Peninsula Prospect Gold Team for winning the Provincial B Cup in Vancouver!
Report from the game: “Final game vs Terrace. Brayden Carr scored header at end of first half. We thought we were sitting pretty, but Terrace refused to give up. As we approached end of regulation, they tied on a own goal/ deflection. In to extra time, Justin Wiebenga scored to make it 2-1, and our keeper Lucas Cracknell kept all other shots out. Provincial Champs and the first time since 2008 Peninsula that either of our clubs have clasped this trophy.”
Way to go!!!
